Striking pair of monumental vintage Moroccan ceramic lidded urns, probably associated with the pottery traditions of Safi or Fez. Each handcrafted vessel stands an impressive 31 inches tall and features a softly aged turquoise crackle glaze, vertical ribbing, a molded wave-pattern band, twin handles, removable domed lid and contrasting dark gray metal mounts. Their large scale, sculptural silhouettes and beautifully weathered surfaces make them dramatic statement pieces for a console, fireplace, entryway or collected interior, especially Moroccan, Moorish, Mediterranean, global or eclectic spaces.

CONDITION
Good vintage decorative condition with substantial age- and use-related character. Both urns show overall glaze crazing, surface wear, discoloration, small chips/glaze losses and wear/patina to the metal mounts. Cracking is present, most notably on one lid, as shown in the close-up photos. Despite the visible wear, no structural instability was noted. Please review all photos closely for condition and details.
