Iconic 19th C. French water landscape with fine details -- trailing fishing net in water, birds, figures, bridge. Housed in a period ornately carved and gilded frame. The age can be seen in the back.
The weight is about 10 lbs for hanging due to the solid frame.
Condition is very good with only minor craquelature. The relining has stabilized the painting from further age related problems commonly associated with larger size antique paintings.
This painting is a perfect addition to a hall or living room console table.
