From the Colonial Williamsburg Catalog: “Teardrop Vase CW 2V. A fine reproduction in the style of teardrop stemware, this vase is ideal for long stem flowers. It is 10 inches tall, 5 inches at the top and has a base of 4-7/8 inches.”
Off-hand blown by Royal Leerdam of Leerdam, Holland for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, this vase is a licensed reproduction purchased when I worked for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Note the tear shaped air bubble in the stem of the vase. This clear glass vase dates from 1979.
In excellent condition. Purchased, but never used.
