The beautiful piece with a frame in solid oak and a drawer features a table top of hand-painted Majolica ceramic tiles. These are showing narrative scenes with rabbits, cabbages and plants in 15 lively, playful motifs.
The glazing technique has a high-relief structure which was typical for the workshop style of e.g. Hjorth or Søholm during that time.

The simple and pure design of the oak wood frame with only little decor underlines the very solid, high-quality workmanship of this small and heavy piece. See less
