A Pair of Antique Lacquered Chinese Elm Wood Rice Containers from Lillian August
A pair of large round Qing Dynasty hand-carved, red painted and lacquered elm wood Chinese covered rice bowls with thin iron braces and carved wooden handles on the bowls and brass ring pulls on the covers.
These are great decorative pieces sourced from Lillian August, which, since the 1990s, has specialized in discovering one-of-a-kind pieces from all over the world!
