This dramatic piece features a high arching handle and a stylized flowering vine knot with a single leaf and blue flower, all against a green and brown textured background. The flowering vine knot on each side is surely a nod to the Tie Vine which is native to Florida. The basket's varying rim height, the irregularly molded background texture, and the uncentered knot motif further add to the natural organic feel of this piece.

In excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is faint glaze crazing throughout which does not distract from the aesthetics.

Dimensions are approximately 12 1/4" tall x 6 1/4" diameter. See less
