David Shrigley, born in Macclesfield in 1968 is a British artist based in Brighton. Having studied at the Glasgow School of Art, graduating in 1991, Shrigley has since gained international recognition for his distinctive drawings, sculptures, and text-based works. Known for his dark humour and deliberately crude style, Shrigley explores the absurdities of everyday life with wit and sharp social commentary.
