david shrigley, a brighton-based british artist, was born in macclesfield in 1968. Having studied at the glasgow school of art, graduating in 1991, shrigley has since gained international recognition for his distinctive drawings, sculptures, and text-based works. Known for his dark humour and deliberately crude style, shrigley explores the absurdities of everyday life with wit and sharp social commentary.
