A beautiful large lidded brass box designed by Hans Przyrembel in Leipzig in the 1930s and 1940s. Hammered brass sheet, with a plug-in lid and knob, and the monogram "HP" and "Handarbeit" (handcrafted) embossed on the base. Hans Przyrembel (1900-1945) was a German designer and craftsman, goldsmith, and silversmith, as well as a Bauhaus student under Laszlo Moholy-Nagy from 1924 to 1928.
