Castore lamp was designed by michele de lucchi for artemide.
a spherical-shaped diffuser hand-blown in opaque white glass is enhanced by a removable tapering stem that emits a soft glow.
the stem is made of steel with tubing covered in a polycarbonate sleeve.
it was designed in 4 different sizes: 14cm, 25cm, 35cm, and 42cm.
this lamp has a diameter of 35cm and a total height of 90cm
the ceiling rose is in white plastic and is the only non-original part of the suspension.
in excellent condition. A small, dark spot on the glass.
works with e27 light bulb. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
