This Really is a Great Looking and Quite Scarce Model Antique American Cast Iron Doorstop. Circa Approx 1920s. It is Pictured and Identified in The Doorstop Book as Flower Laden Cottage with Woman on Steps - Model 50. It is Also Signed - Made by the Eastern Specialty Mfg. Company ( Book Value $450 to $550 ). Note Also that the Book Indicates that it was Likely Inspired by the Wallace Nutting Picture entitled "Flower Laden" It is Very Heavy Solid Cast Weighing 5 Pounds. It Still Retains its Artfully Original Hand Oil Painted Features with Very Nice Color Combinations. The Paint is Aged and Weathered Giving it that Authentic Old Look that Cannot be Duplicated. It has No Damage to the Casting.
