This vintage Turkish Oushak rug, measuring 2'11" by 5'10", is handwoven with wool on a wool foundation in the Oushak region of Western Turkey. Originating from the Anatolian plateau, the birthplace of oriental rug weaving, each village developed distinctive designs and color schemes seldom replicated by others.
