Add a sophisticated accent to any interior with this elegant Louis Philippe mirror from France, crafted circa 1870. The classic rectangular frame features the characteristic rounded top corners of the Louis Philippe style and is finished in a striking two-tone combination of deep black lacquer and warm gilt.
The original mercury glass plate is set within the molded frame, which retains its antique wood backing. A new hanging wire has been added for secure and easy wall mounting. The subtle wear and scattered foxing in the mirror plate add authentic charm and underscore its 19th-century origin.
Measuring 32.75 inches wide by 45.75 inches high and 1 inch deep, this antique mirror offers timeless versatility, ideal for placement above a console, in a hallway, in a powder room, or as a focal point in a living or dressing room. Excellent condition commensurate with age and use.
