Its intricate central medallion, framed by multiple geometric floral borders, is rendered in soft natural tones of indigo, coral, cornflower blue, ivory, tan, light blue, teal blue, with a hint of black scattered throughout. — a palette that suggests the use of vegetable dyes, now gently faded to perfection with age.

Woven in northwest Iran using asymmetrical (Senneh) knots, with clear evidence of hand-spun wool and subtle abrash (color variation), adding depth and authenticity. The braided fringe, striped end finish, and visible hand work throughout point to traditional Malayer or Hamadan region craftsmanship.
