Wonderful hand-blown glass vase, entirely hand-shaped, with a transparent glass body featuring glass inclusions in various shades of blue throughout the vase and additional glass inclusions with shades ranging from green to yellow and orange only in the center of the bowl. Enriched with a rag glass decoration, applied by hand to the stem of the vase and twisted irregularly, rich in internal shades of white, green, and gold. Signed under the base "Mdina Glass," a famous manufacturer founded in 1968 in Malta by Michael Harris, to whom we can attribute the authorship of our vase. Dated, also under the base, "1970."

Useful information for evaluating the item:
We found several vases that were practically identical to ours in terms of model and size, only in different colors, all signed in the same way and attributed to Michael Harris, offered at a minimum of €800 up to requests of almost €1,500, to give a more specific idea of the value of our vase.

Information about artist and/or manufacturer:
Michael Harris (1933-1994) was an English artist and glassmaker. Together with his wife Elizabeth, he founded Mdina Glass on the island of Malta in 1968. They left Malta in 1972 and founded the Isle of Wight Studio. In 1989, they founded Gozo Glass in Gozo, an island near Malta, which is still in operation today. This piece has an attribution mark,
