this original set of four thonet chairs, model 215p, was made from solid beech in 1993. The set consists of three armchairs and one chair without armrests – a rare combination of the classic model with the characteristic backrest made of original viennese canework.

the model 215 draws on the long tradition of thonet chair production and combines the iconic viennese coffee house aesthetic with a modern, upholstered seat. The backrest, with its clamped canework, is typical of thonet and testifies to craftsmanship and lightness.

the seats have been reupholstered in a high-quality, velvety kvadrat "harald" fabric in a subtle sage or pastel green shade. The color and texture harmonize perfectly with the light beechwood.

the frames have been freshly varnished and show only slight signs of wear, such as small bumps or minimal abrasion. The original viennese canework is in very good condition, solid, and undamaged.
