Large amethyst blown glass dish designed by Vittorio Zecchin for MVM Cappellin in the 1920s. The dish was produced in several sizes; this is the medium version, which is very rare. One of Zecchin's designs for Cappellin and Venini from the early twentieth century, which prompted the Murano glass companies to leave for new shores. In good condition, with some surface scratches.
