At the bottom left there is an unidentified signature and the date '80. On the frame a metal plate with the indication 'Ashelard Holland 1880'. The landscape view, a vast cultivated countryside with gentle slopes, is crossed by a watercourse, navigated by some boats; on the left bank, a small group of houses, with the small church; some wayfarers cross each other on the path. Still on the first canvas, the painting is presented in a regilded frame from the early 1900s. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
