Not sure what the wood is, but it is extremely heavy. The Buddha is holding a bird. The sculpture is approximately 37 inches tall. There are a few losses (bird’s tail) and repairs, please see the detailed photos. The cracks or splits in the wood are natural and do not affect the stability of the sculpture. See less
