A set of twelve French oversized table knives by Bouillet Bourdelle, dating to the Mid-Century era, likely 1960-1970s.
Bouillet Bourdelle is a French manufacturer, established in Lyon in 1896 by Henri Bouillet, known for their high-quality flatware and tableware. They are recognized for their elegant designs and craftsmanship, producing products for the French home, hotels, and restaurants.
Bouillet Bourdelle designed and manufactured the silverware pattern for the Concorde Super-Sonic Transport aircraft.
The twelve knives are of heavy quality 18/10 stainless steel with ivory colored plastic composite handles, terminating in a stainless bell-shaped tip.
Pattern No. BOB7 – Beautifully made, substantial weight.
Measuring: 9.50 in. Long, with a blade measuring .75 in. W x .25 in. H
Signed with the engraved Bouillet Bourdelle mark on the side of each blade, and 18/10 where the handle meets the blade.
Light wear to the ivory colored handles, as found.
