This very handsome antique Biedermeier commode is in excellent condition, it is made from blond walnut with elegantly figured grain, the top having an ebonized band, below the commode has three drawers each with the original gilt-brass handles & lock escutcheons. The drawers are flanked by a pair of ebonized columns mounted with gilt-bronze Corinthian capitals & plinths, the commode is raised on an ebonized skirt with four ebonized legs with block feet.
The drawer linings & back panels are made of white pine, the drawers run smooth & with ease and provide plenty of storage & are ready to store your clothes or bedding. Condition is excellent, the commode just had it's finish lovingly refreshed in Bloomsbury's professional workshops, this very elegant antique Biedermeier commode is all set to grace your space.
