Published by Harry N. Abrams Inc. Publishers of New York, the black hardcover linen cloth bound cover has silver tone foil embossed letters. With dust jacket. Printed in Italy by Amilcare Pizzi S.P.A. Milan, in 1986 on the occasion of the exhibition at The National Gallery of Art Washington D.C., authored by Jack Cowart and Dominique Fourcade. It features a monograph survey of the artworks by artist Henri Matisse.
