An elegant hand-blown Murano glass sculpture attributed to Fornace Salviati, Venice, circa 1960s. This beautifully rendered figure portrays a young woman in traditional folk attire, balancing a basket atop her head. The piece features delicate white latticino canework, radiant gold aventurine, and a refined amethyst fade rising from the waist — all hallmarks of mid-century Venetian artistry.
Measuring approximately 11 inches tall, this sculpture has a commanding presence and sculptural integrity that distinguishes it from smaller figurines.
A partial original foil label remains on the base, consistent with known Salviati markings.
