These Geta feature a red lacquered finish with a hand-painted bamboo and floral motif and a decorated fabric thong anchored inside two cutouts (visible underneath). This pair has a small decorative metal cover the cutout at the front of the shoe. True to the style, the sole is thicker at the back. This type of Japanese footwear was often worn with yukata (or summer kimonos) and servd the practical purpose of keeping the kimono off the ground. This pair serves as a beautiful decorative accent and offers a nice pop of color and tons of vintage character. Just gorgeous! See less
