She is known as a saviouress who embodies compassion and helps beings overcome obstacles and fears. While Green Tara and White Tara are perhaps the most well-known, Tara appears in many different manifestations, often with varying numbers of arms, colors, and attributes, each signifying specific enlightened activities or qualities.
