Demiurgo Man & Owl is a striking limited edition lithograph by Mexican artist Marcos Huerta, known for his dreamlike and surreal imagery. This monochromatic work blends the mystical symbolism of an owl with human figures, rendered in a style that evokes both abstraction and introspection. Created in Huerta’s later years, the composition reflects his mature artistic voice shaped by studies at the San Carlos Academy and a career that spanned Europe and Mexico. The piece is beautifully presented in a custom gray wood frame with archival-quality double matting.

Artist Biography:
Marcos Huerta was born in Mexico City in 1939 and later became closely associated with the art scene in Jalisco. He studied at the prestigious San Carlos Academy and began exhibiting in 1967. Between 1976 and 1979, Huerta lived and exhibited in several European cities. In 1980, he made Guadalajara his home and became involved with the Modern Art Center. His work remains highly regarded in Mexican modern art circles. Huerta passed away in 2003 in Zapopan, Jalisco.
