Oil on treated paper, stretched over a stretcher frame. Very delicate, measuring 31 cm x 34 cm with frame. The painting itself measures 25 cm x 20 cm. The oil painting dates from the 19th century. Incredibly radiant in its color scheme.
A painting attributed to the school of I.L. Jensen, a well-known Danish painter and teacher known for his floral still lifes. The paintings are oil on canvas and usually not particularly large. The vibrant colors are outstanding. Signed paintings are rarely signed, but can be identified relatively easily through literature and reference works. This painting is a signed arrangement of roses and other flowers. This painting is framed. The paintings are considered investment and collector's items.
