Offered is a Dansk staved and lathed Teak wood bowl originally designed by Jens H. Quistgaard in 1958.
The sides are subtly angled inward, and the surface is curved and sloped, carved to form the elliptical O-shaped opening, hence the name. The bowl is food-safe, yet can be used as a fruit bowl, a catch-all, or for display.
It measures 11.75" diameter, is 4.75" high on ends and 5.5" on sides, the opening measures approximately 10.25" x 7.25".
It is stamped "832, Staved Teak, Dansk Design, Danmark, JHQ" with the ubiquitous 4 ducks logo on the base.
