Antique, early 20th century. Handmade, bespoke- definitely not machine made. A tank! Do not know wood- suspected German Pine, but it is heavier than that. Will not break and fall apart on you! Holes for all mounting but is also steady, weighty and level so can easily set on a counter, too.
