French vintage exhibition poster for yves brayer (1971). Newly framed, the poster announces brayer's exhibition of his watercolours of la brière.
la brière is an atmospheric marshland with misty wetlands, straw-roofed huts and boats gliding through the reed-fringed canals. The exhibition was held at the galerie moyon-avenard in nantes, in the far west of france. Discovered however, in the south of france, this gallery holds several yves brayer posters acquired from an individual with an impressive collection of these alluring and desirable works. They are absolutely charming and would suit being hung in your home or workspace. They are in good overall condition and beautifully framed. This particular poster was printed by the mourlot brothers of paris as indicated in the type and in pencil in the poster's lower right hand corner, partially hidden by the frame.
