The base is comprised of clear and frosted acrylic pillars strung together with chrome metal rods. The Lucite pillars are staggered in height eliciting the rhythm of icicles. Light dances through the curve like a diamond! Two steel rods run the upper and lower spines to solidify the pillars. The base has a small amount of give, which allows the S-shape to elongate or compress. In good vintage condition with some wear and patina. Glass is not included. See less
