This coat rack from France, is made of turned wood, and hand-carved, with a superb, ''faux bamboo'' effect, on a rich dark oak/ chocolate brown color with 3 pegs (hooks.) These kinds of coat racks were commonly found in French bistros.

The carved pegs are fantastic and very useful; their shape will perfectly match the shape of any coat, jacket or hat when hung.

In very good, overall, original and vintage condition, with a beautiful patina of time. Some light signs, marks of age and previous usage commensurate with time, as can be expected on the overall structure (see photos), as well as a patina of time on the overall piece (see photos.)

There are two hooks on the piece, enabling one to easily affix it to a wall (see photos.) Screws not included.

Piece has only been gently cleaned with flaxseed oil, to preserve the beautiful, original, patina of time.

Both a great looking and useful piece of rustic, vintage décor, to compliment any given space, whether placed in an entryway, mudroom, bedroom, bathroom, etc.
