This is a Very Unusual - Great Looking Antique American Country Primitive Fireside Stool. Circa Early 1800s. This Stool started its life as a Kitchen Breadboard - Cutting Board that was used extensively over the years. At some point in the past - I would estimate at around the turn of the last century it was Repurposed - Made into a Low Stool. The Breadboard and Legs appear to be made out of Oak or Some Other Similar Wood. It has a Wonderful Color and Patina - is in Good Sturdy Condition - Displays Very Nicely.
I purchased this piece on one of my Recent Picking Adventures in the Central Massachusetts Region.
Truly a Unique - One of Kind Piece.
It Measures 11 1/2 inches Tall x 15 inches Long x 9 inches Wide at Top.
