This antique Persian Heriz runner, measuring 3'1" by 14', is handwoven in Iran's Mahal region and has been carefully distressed and refinished in the U.S. Persian rugs are deeply rooted in Iran’s rich artistic and cultural heritage, with weaving traditions dating back to the Bronze Age. The oldest surviving examples originate from the Safavid dynasty of the 16th century, reflecting centuries of craftsmanship and history.
