It was the style for a time in Mid 20th Century Italy to create all kinds of animals out of leather and paint them as special quality tourist souvenirs. This lovely giraffe is absolutely beautiful! It has some damage and repairs (see neck and leg in photos), however, this otherwise delicate and light sculpture is in good condition. It is stable on four legs and would add a unique and personal touch to have this sculpture displayed on an office shelf or fireplace mantel. See less
