Empire Gilded Wall Lamp Late 1700 obtained with a palm-holder vase in carved and gilded wood in fine gold, converted into a wall lamp to be used as a wall lamp. On the back of this lamp you can still see the signs of a shoulder, an element that allowed for vertical stability and the lateral signs of two handles, now no longer present. The central surface of the vase is engraved on plaster and is decorated with the carving of a garland of flowers with two festoons. The terminal part has an original decoration with leaf carving, unusual for palm-holders. In good condition, this gilded wall lamp from the eighteenth century is functional, suitable for an E27 bulb. Minimal losses to the gilding compatible with the dating.
European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
