This type of plate was popular in the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, although it was also replicated in the 1950s-1970s as rustic decorations.
Signature: The trumpet-playing angel is often attributed to German or Austrian workshops, especially those associated with the Nuremberg or Innsbruck region, where many craftsmen specializing in pewter products operated.
It is very possible that they originated in Germany or Austria.
Several well-known manufacturers of pewter objects used the angel as a symbol, e.g. Kayserzinn (although their signature was slightly different), WMF in decorative series or smaller manufactories.
