This vintage Turkish Oushak rug, measuring 4'1" by 6'4", is handwoven with wool on a wool foundation in the Oushak region of Western Turkey. Originating from the Anatolian plateau, the birthplace of oriental rug weaving, each village developed distinctive designs and color palettes rarely replicated by neighboring communities. These antique rugs have been prominently featured in historical European art. Their striking geometric patterns combined with muted tones have made them highly sought after by interior designers.
