The baluster form is enhanced by a pair of applied relief handles in deep underglaze blue, adding both texture and symmetry to the vessel. The glaze is glossy and well-preserved, and the underglaze decoration exhibits fine brush control with deep saturation typical of mid-20th-century Chinese export wares.

The vase has a flared lip, narrow neck, and rounded shoulders tapering to a gently recessed foot. The base is unmarked but shows appropriate age patina.
