Painting of a cabin interior and view by Leslie Buck (American, 1907-1991), 1930. Description "Kitchen Corner" Davis's Rental Cottage, Porter Beach, Indiana 1930 and signed on verso.Image, 7.5"H x 8.5"L.
Born in Chicago, she studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and with Claude Buck after their marriage in 1934. With her husband, she moved to the Santa Cruz mountains in 1943 and in 1959 to Santa Barbara where she lived the rest of her life.
