Watercolor depiction of the Liberty Class Dry Cargo Ship "Charles Scribner" docked in Torre Annunziata, Italy, with a portrait of a man in pencil in the upper left corner. The piece is signed and dated by the artist in the lower right corner, and titled in pencil at the bottom. The piece also bears an embossed stamp with an elephant logo and the initials "A. B. & C. - M". The Charles Scribner was built in 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland at Bethlehem-Fairfield Shipyard. The ship then sailed to Torre Annunziata, Italy.
