The subject in this piece depicts a man who reminds us of Don Draper from Mad Men. He wears a dark blue-gray or black suit, with a red tie and matching pocket square. He looks off into the distance to his left. His hair is jet black and combed neatly to one side.

The background depicts tall moody mountains in brown and black. It is signed in red at the bottom right "Prather".

The painting is framed in a giltwood frame. There is some separation to the edges at the corners. A horizontal hanging wire is affixed to the back to making hanging easy.
