Fun watercolor of figures enjoying a sunny day on the California coast by listed artist Doris Ann Warner (American, 1925-2010). Signed "Warner" lower right. Unframed. Image size: 15"H X 22"W
Doris Ann Warner first achieved recognition as an Abstract Expressionist painter, but became well known for stone carving as well as abstract female figures, which emphasized body movement through rhythmic flow of mass and line. Warner studied at the University of California Santa Cruz as well as Pietrasanta, Italy, with Professor Pasquale Martini in 1988.
