A romantic and richly textured vintage floral still life oil painting by artist Edvi Illés. This elegant composition features a lush bouquet of roses and chrysanthemums in shades of pink, red, and coral, arranged in a deep burgundy vase. The blooms burst forth against a muted olive-gray background, with fallen petals scattered below adding a poetic touch.
Painted with expressive, impasto brushwork, the flowers appear vibrant and full of movement. The work is signed by the artist in the lower left corner.
Housed in its original carved wooden frame with a soft gray wash and a linen liner, the piece radiates classic charm and Old World character. A timeless addition to traditional, cottage, or shabby chic interiors.
