The hexagon shape and the elegant design of floral and botannical elements make this lamp a standout on a white background. The lamp is in beautiful condition without condition issues. The hexagon shape is architectural and the lamp makes a dramatic statement with its simple dual tones. The hand painting includes flower faces, boughs and vines in a gold and tan tone. The design is reminiscent of earthenware containers and jars used to store drugs and herbs known as Albarelli. These jars were used to hold medicines and other powders and became popular in Italian apothecaries in the middle ages. The indivudual designs helped the chemist identify a container's contents at a gance.
The lamp is sold without the shade.
