An elegant large vintage coffee canister made from genuine Limoges porcelain.
Produced and decorated in the French manufacturing district of Limoges by the company ‘les griffes’ active in the trade of porcelain in Parma.
The transferware jar showcases Piazza delle Erbe (now Piazza Palazzo di Città) in Turin, based on a 1682 engraving.
It features the civic tower on the left and the Palazzo Civico at the center, where the city’s first public café opened in 1700. The words Casa del Caffè (Coffee House) prominently appear, highlighting its historical significance.
A unique collectable piece that holds a truly interesting history of a forgotten Turin.
Add a touch of European sophistication to your kitchen with this elegant jar.
This beautiful jar bears the original stamps and is in excellent condition.
