A sculptural stone vase, handcrafted from a proprietary composite of recycled paper pulp and organic cement — sturdy, deeply textured, and entirely one of a kind. Its surface reads like cast stone or raw concrete, yet the material is lighter than true stone, slightly elastic, and sealed for indoor durability. What looks like volcanic rock is really the third life of wood: discarded cardboard and paper pulp, reworked over years of experimentation into something durable and expressively archaic.

Each vessel is constructed by hand in successive layers, and every layer behaves a little differently depending on pressure, drying conditions, and how the material chooses to settle. The balance of recycled paper pulp, organic cement, and mineral binder was arrived at through long experimentation — the aim being a surface that resists water and impact while still reading as living, geological stone. Because of this, no two pieces ever finish the same way.

Natural variation isn't hidden here — it's the whole intention. Cracks, shifts in the surface, and unpredictable texture aren't faults; they're the point. Imperfection as a way to create beauty.

Every piece is handmade and one of a kind — small differences in texture and form are intended and part of the design. Made to order.
