A sculptural stone side table built around an arched leg structure — a form that is both archaic and thoroughly contemporary. The silhouette is bold and elemental, while the surface tells a quieter, more layered story: raw, geological, tactile. Far more than somewhere to set things down, this is a functional sculpture that slips easily into the role of a room's focal point.

The material comes out of years of hands-on experimentation: recycled paper pulp and cardboard — the second life of wood — bound together with organic cement, binders, and paint into a composite that looks like cast stone yet performs nothing like it. It weighs far less than real concrete, gives slightly instead of cracking, and is sealed for lasting indoor use. Donatas describes it as the third life of wood — an everyday material remade, through process, into something entirely new.

Rather than hiding the marks of its making, the BENT table carries them as character. Cracks, surface shifts, and unpredictable variation are built into the design — the trace of a hand at work and of a material left free to speak. Imperfection as a way to create beauty.
