A tall sculptural floor vase shaped by a minimal vertical line and a serpentine waist — slender, upright, and quietly commanding. At 78 cm, COLUMN holds the eye without ever crowding the space around it. Its white composite surface keeps the faint irregularities of hand-building: neither smooth nor rough, but somewhere in between — like weathered stone slowly worn smooth.

Each vessel is constructed by hand in successive layers, and every layer behaves a little differently depending on pressure, drying conditions, and how the material chooses to settle. The balance of recycled paper pulp, organic cement, and mineral binder was arrived at through long experimentation — the aim being a surface that resists water and impact while still reading as living, geological stone. Because of this, no two pieces ever finish the same way.

Natural variation isn't hidden here — it's the whole intention. Cracks, shifts in the surface, and unpredictable texture aren't faults; they're the point. Imperfection as a way to create beauty.
