a sculptural concrete side table on three legs — elemental in form, raw at the surface, precise in proportion. Tripod high is the taller version in the series, suited to seating-height placement beside a sofa or armchair, or as a bedside table in a considered interior. In black composite the surface reads dark and dense — closer to volcanic basalt than to polished stone.

the material comes out of years of hands-on experimentation: recycled paper pulp and cardboard — the second life of wood — bound together with organic cement, binders, and paint into a composite that looks like cast stone yet performs nothing like it. It weighs far less than real concrete, gives slightly instead of cracking, and is sealed for lasting indoor use. Donatas describes it as the third life of wood — an everyday material remade, through process, into something entirely new.

the textured surface is irregular by design — small variations and marks are simply part of how the material expresses itself. The tripod makes no attempt to hide how it was made. Imperfection as a way to create beauty.
